ABOUT THE TEAM

"UNITED BY BACON TO END AIDS."

That's basically how this whole thing started back in the summer of 2011 when two Los Angeles besties decided to hop on their bikes for the first time in decades. Before we knew it, the Pork Pedalers became a ragtag group of silly cyclists who love eating almost as much as we love helping others. Over the years we've somehow recruited Level Three Vegans to the team. We're guessing it's because it feels like summer camp when we all ride together.

Apart from our very strong affection for the Cadillac of meats, the Pork Pedalers are all dedicated to raising money for organizations across the country that provide HIV treatment and prevention services to the community. Our teammates are scattered from coast to coast and represent at several long-distance fundraising rides, including AIDS/LifeCycle (California), SMART Ride (Florida), and the Red Ribbon Ride (Minnesota).

We know there are other rides like this out there, so let us know if you'd like to join the team and expand our bacon-flavored reach to new and exciting places!
